Our performances typically run for 60, 90 or 120 minutes.

We also offer extended three-hour sets and all-night-long performances. Set lengths and special formats can be arranged depending on the event.

We started out playing back-to-back on two turntables during the vinyl era.

Inspired by artists experimenting with four turntables and two mixers, we began developing a format in which we could both perform simultaneously, layering tracks and shaping the music together rather than simply taking turns.

This eventually became our signature performance setup.

Over the years, we performed with four and even six decks, using two mixers. As DJ technology evolved, we streamlined the setup to four CDJs and one mixer without changing the concept behind our performance.

We’re originally from São Paulo, Brazil, where PETDuo was formed in 1997.

We’ve been living and working in Berlin, Germany, since 2006, bringing our Brazilian underground roots into the international hard techno and schranz scene.

Yes, we are!

We met in 1994 at Hell’s Club, a pioneering techno after-hours party in São Paulo, and got married at the same venue in 1995.

But we’ve always counted our story from the day we first met.

Techno brought us together. It was love at first beat.

Our story began at Hell’s Club, a pioneering techno after-hours party in São Paulo. David was a regular, and Anne was the hostess, taking care of the guest list.

That venue became part of three important chapters in our lives: we met there in 1994, got married there in 1995, and performed there together as a DJ duo in 1997.
